Questions

What is Watch Vault Media?

A free reader that gathers the day’s watch news and videos from a curated list of publishers and channels, and links you to each one.

Does it cost anything?

No. It is free, every feature is free, and it has no advertisements.

Can I leave a tip?

If you like. The website links to a page on Buy Me a Coffee, a separate service, where you can leave an optional tip. A tip is never required and unlocks nothing, and this site receives no payment details.

Do I need an account?

No. There is no account and no sign-in, and the site does not ask for your name or your email.

Where do the stories come from?

From websites and YouTube channels that we have chosen, all named and linked on the Sources page. Latest reads some of the websites and Videos reads some of the channels; every other source has its own page of recent stories. We choose the sources and do not rank their stories.

Does it republish the articles?

No. Each story shows the publisher’s own headline, picture and short excerpt, then opens at the publisher. This site writes no summaries.

How are stories ordered?

Strictly newest first, grouped by day. When several sources cover the same story, it is shown once with every source listed. Nothing is ranked, and nothing is hidden by us.

How often are the sources asked?

Each source is asked no more than once every 15 minutes, however many people are reading.

Are some sources also sellers of watches?

Some are, and the site says so beside the source on the Sources page. Posts a publisher marks as sponsored, or files as a shop, are labelled in the list.

Is there an iPhone and iPad app?

It is coming soon, with the same sources and no account.

Who makes it?

Aveneg Technologies, LLC, which also makes Watch Vault Tracker and Watch Vault Archive.
